Munro: Mountain Man

Just a quick heads up for anyone who missed it first time round the documentary “Munro: Mountain Man” is repeated on BBC4 at 7pm tonight. And if you watch very, very carefully you will see yours truly out of focus in the background of the Clachaig Inn! I was en-route up north to Ullapool back in May and stopped off for a bite to eat. As I walked in I saw a camera and asked the barman what they were filming. He wasn’t really sure but then I recognised Nick Crane who was chatting to folk about their Munro adventures. He was really looking for couple or groups to interview on camera so I was spared actually being interviewed! However I did have a quick chat with him and it turned out they’d been up Bidean the day before in a blizzard! And were then heading further north to Skye and An Teallach. As you will see on the programme they got absolutely fantastic weather just as we did.
